Welcome to the world of DotDotSmile, where girls are free to twirl and smiles are contagious. Maybe you’ve heard about Dotdotsmile from the collaboration with Lularoe, or perhaps you’ve spotted a little girl twirling in a ballerina dress on the playground. Either way, you know you want to have one for the princess in your life. So you jot down the name of the company on the back of a Chick-fil-A napkin and take it to Google. Alas, no results. Where can you find the Dotdotsmile catalog?
There isn’t one!
DotDotSmile is a unique clothing line with a hybrid of multiple selling avenues. One year ago (today!) the owners decided to take their side business and go all out together, thus truly launching this company. They had previously explored various retail outlets, but finally settled on independent merchandisers. That’s right– inventory can be purchased through yours truly! Independent merchandisers purchase the dresses (and other items) at wholesale, then utilize the outlet of their choice to get these amazing dresses into the hands of little girls around the world. Well, around America. We’re hoping for global expansion at some point.
But big things are coming…
The DotDotSmile Catalog is coming, ya’ll.
With the rollout of the affiliate program (pre-launch is Friday!), Dotdotsmile will be releasing replicated websites. That’s right! Call grandma, because she no longer needs to fight the cool kids on Facebook. She can shop directly from the warehouse in sunny Southern California.
Pretty soon, each independent merchandiser will have a personalized replicated website where you can shop directly. Although a majority of the prints and styles will be made available through the mystery wholesale process, the replicated website will allow you to have freedoms of size and style choices and not be boxed into limited availability. Oh– and there will be online exclusive prints!
This is a huge step for Dotdotsmile and will set this company apart from the others. I cannot wait to explore the back office and drop my catalog link!
