Happy Wednesday! The weather has been grey and dreary lately, which means inside projects and lots of (unfortunate) screen time. I had been promising a trip the the playground for two weeks now, so when we woke up yesterday to the sun shining in the window, I knew we were long overdue.
After prying Charlotte-Ann away from her play room, and forcing her into her matching outfit, we finally made our way to the playground. There, she played in the sand and on the swing for over an hour before I lured her away with the promise of ice cream. (And I found these mochi balls for myself, yummo).
I’m wearing two new pieces I just snagged for my spring wardrobe, flats from my spring shoe haul, plus some trusty jewelry. Simple and practical for the playground, but less mess with intention.
This outfit is such a comfortable choice, but looks very put together. The leggings are leggings, but the details almost give a business casual appearance. (They could totally go with a blazer for work). The tee is super soft and slouchy, and would work for breastfeeding moms. I paired it with simple olive/jade jewelry.
Chickpea wore a similar striped tee and solid black jegging, because twinning is winning. She also way better at the I’m going to pretend this is a candid photo even though I just asked you to take my picture technique.
