Beyond Dreams Synopsis
Harper Hutton is the baby sister, and almost always in the shadows. Although none of the Hutton children had a good relationship with their father, Harper’s was perhaps the worst. And she never knew why. Her father hated her, and like her brothers she was relieved when he finally passed away. Finally she could be free to express herself.
By an extreme how in the world situation, Harper was accidentally overheard playing music by the famous musician heart throb, Collin West. And as if that wasn’t enough for a once in a life time experience, it turned out he liked what he heard. And he liked who was playing it. What are the odds that one day you’re listening to the pop star of the century, and the next day you’re texting him? Better yet-now Collin wants Harper to come with him as he goes on tour. He promises to show her the world. But just like Harper had a dark childhood, Collin had no easy life either. And unfortunately his past is more than an alcoholic father with a hidden agenda.
Reader Thoughts on Beyond Dreams
Even though most of Abby Brooks’ books are standalones, Beyond Dreams is best read after reading the first four as it does tie together some loose threads from the first books. It also builds on some of the family issues discussed in earlier books. Overall, Beyond Dreams is a beautiful book on it’s own and an even more lovely final book in the series. (Well, many readers believe Mama Hutton deserves her own book, but who knows if that will happen.)
