Holiday Gift Guide for Men

gift guide for men

Hey ladies, are you ready to shop for the men in your life? Shopping for other women is easy, because we know what we want and like so it’s just a matter of making adjustments for their preferences. But men are hard. They’re picky. They tend to buy stuff they want, before we get the chance. I rounded up some of the items I’ve been watching for my husband, or staples in his life, to help make your shopping experience easier. Here comes the holiday gift guide for men!

If you already read my Father’s Day Gift Guide, many of those gifts are still excellent choices!

Important to note that we are an Apple family. It was a tough conversion, but I did pull my dear husband onto the dark side. That being said, many of these suggestions are Apple compatible, so apologies in advance if you’re stubborn and sticking with Android.

1. Charge all of your devices at once with a charging stand, and never worry about tangled cords again. Compatible for an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirBuds. This is the stand only, so you do need to use your original charging block and cables, but this keeps them organized on your man’s bedside stand.

2. If your man brings a lunch to work he will love the Yeti Daytrip Packable Lunch Bag. It keeps contents cold, and is one of the most respected cooler brands in the industry. Available in charcoal, navy, and river green

3. Why doesn’t your man have an Apple Watch yet? With custom watch faces, full integration to your phone, and the option for celluar data, it should be on every person’s wrist.

The silicone band is easy to clean, and is acceptable in most work places (even factories). Pro Tip: Since the Gen 5 just released, look for the 4 or even the 3. We have the 3 and it is absolutely perfect for what we need. I’ve heard that there were big tech jumps between the 3 and 4, but minor changes between 4 and 5. The difference in cost is worth getting a previous generation.

4. In a world where video games aren’t limited to consoles, and we can lose our men to their phones, or tablet, or computer, or handheld… who wants to get him another video game? Not me. So instead, pick up a board game. Like this Movie Quiz Night, which only needs 2 players.

5. Move over Firestick and Roku, the Apple TV is here. It comes preloaded with some of the same apps you’re used to with other tv streaming devices, but my favorite part is that you can instantly stream your phone with a swipe up. Great for sharing your screen at family events or spousal disagreements.

6. Coffee for two? Yes please. There’s something extremely masculine about a man making coffee in a French Press, and it brings out their broody nature. Treat your man to a Bodem French Press with two cups.

7. Every man (actually, every person) should get slippers for the holidays. There’s just something about a fresh pair for the new year that is extra magical. Make sure you choose a pair with a back, and firm bottom, that is durable.

8. Since everyone has multiple devices, it’s easy to lose track of the cords and/or blocks, or just run out of outlets. No one wants to play roulette with their devices. This dual lightning charger makes a great stocking stuffer.

9. We always exchange socks on the first day of Hanukkah, just out of tradition. But they’re great for Christmas too. Socks keep your feet warm and winter makes them cold, so it makes sense. Although cutesie printed socks are great for gag gifts, men have big, sweaty feet and those often make their feet sweat extra which means they will smell. Don’t do that. Choose a wool sock to wick the moisture away.

10. Most men have a classic black belt, but it’s time to expand their wardrobe with a cognac color leather belt. These work with jeans or khakis, and look super chic.

Happy shopping!

I hope the man in your life, whether it be your boyfriend or husband, heck even your father, loves these gift suggestions. Let me know if there’s anything else you think most men would love to have.
